Position Overview

PDM is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Digital Experience to lead the strategy, optimization, and day-to-day management of the company’s digital presence.

This role is responsible for transforming PDM’s website into a best-in-class digital experience that effectively communicates our brand, showcases our technical expertise, and generates qualified sales opportunities. Working closely with Marketing, Sales, Engineering, IT, and external agencies, this individual will own website strategy, user experience, conversion optimization, analytics, SEO, and digital performance.

The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution and has extensive experience managing enterprise WordPress websites in B2B technology, manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or infrastructure organizations.

 

Key Responsibilities

Website Strategy & Digital Experience

  • Own PDM’s overall website strategy and roadmap.
  • Lead continuous optimization of user experience, navigation, content architecture, and site performance.
  • Develop digital experiences that support customer acquisition, thought leadership, and brand awareness.
  • Partner with executive leadership to evolve the website as PDM enters new markets and launches new products.

    WordPress Administration & Development

  • Serve as the primary owner of PDM’s WordPress website.
  • Manage website updates, templates, plugins, page creation, and ongoing enhancements.
  • Coordinate with external developers and agencies as needed.
  • Ensure website security, performance, uptime, and technical best practices.
  • Maintain governance and documentation for all website assets.

    Required: Minimum 5 years of hands-on WordPress experience managing enterprise websites.

    Conversion Optimization

  • Improve website conversion rates through landing page optimization, UX enhancements, and A/B testing.
  • Optimize calls-to-action, forms, and user journeys.
  • Partner with Sales to improve lead generation and customer engagement.

    SEO & Digital Performance

  • Develop and execute SEO strategies that improve organic visibility.
  • Monitor search rankings and website health.
  • Manage technical SEO requirements with internal and external partners.


    Analytics & Reporting

  • Own GA4 reporting and website dashboards.
  • Analyze visitor behavior and recommend improvements.
  • Report monthly on traffic, engagement, conversions, and marketing performance.
  • Build executive dashboards that connect digital performance to business outcomes.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Product, and IT.
  • Coordinate digital support for product launches, campaigns, events, and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across all digital properties.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on WordPress website management (required). 
  • 7+ years of digital marketing experience.
  • Experience with GA4, Google Search Console, Tag Manager, and SEO platforms.
  • Experience working with HubSpot or similar marketing automation platforms.
  • Understanding of CRM integration (Microsoft Dynamics experience preferred).
  • Experience managing website agencies and developers.
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and conversion optimization.
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Experience in B2B technology, industrial, manufacturing, engineering, energy, or infrastructure industries strongly preferred.

Within the first year, you will:

  • Successfully lead Phase I of PDM’s website transformation.
  • Improve website conversion rates and marketing-qualified lead generation.
  • Increase organic search visibility and website engagement.
  • Establish scalable website governance and content processes.
  • Deliver executive reporting that clearly demonstrates marketing’s business impact.
  • Create a digital experience that supports PDM’s continued expansion into AI infrastructure, utilities, and industrial markets.
