Position Overview:

We’re a fast-growing company operating at the intersection of energy, manufacturing, and infrastructure. We’re looking for a business operations and finance manager to serve as a strategic support arm for our executive team.

This fully remote role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic, digital-first environment and loves keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. You’ll manage accounts payable/receivable, vendor relationships, and financial tools like QuickBooks and MS Dynamics, all while keeping the executive team informed with clear, actionable insights.

Your goal: Ensure the lights stay on, the bills are paid, and the business keeps moving forward—smarter and faster.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • AR/AP & Cash Flow: Own accounts receivable/payable and ensure timely payment tracking, invoicing, and reconciliation. 
  • Vendor Management: Manage day-to-day communication with service providers such as ADP, shipping/logistics partners, insurance, and payroll vendors
  • Financial Systems & Bookkeeping: Maintain up-to-date financials in QuickBooks, oversee integration with Microsoft Dynamics, and ensure reporting accuracy. 
  • Business Intelligence: Regularly brief the executive team with data-driven operational and financial health updates. 
  • Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and bring vetted, actionable solutions to leadership. Optimize spending, tools, and workflows. 
  • Cross-Team Support: Support the sales, logistics, and manufacturing teams with operational alignment and administrative coordination. 

What You Bring: 

  • 3–5+ years of experience in business operations, finance, or back-office roles 
  • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks, MS Dynamics, and the adaptability to learn new tools quickly 
  • Familiarity with AR/AP, vendor contracts, and reconciliation workflows 
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and excellent at prioritizing in a fast-paced environment 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills—you’re comfortable briefing C-level execs 
  • Self-starter mentality with a bias for action and problem-solving
